'Building on Strengths' is our motto.  Every citizen, community and organisation has capacities, competencies and assets that have given them life and resilience.  Our experience of many decades has shown us that social, economic and organisational change and especially citizen-led development is most effective when it begins with an exploration of how to mobilise these existing strengths. 

We all have a choice in whatever we do and how we go about it.  

We prefer looking at what gives life or the glass as 'half full'...           

Our work draws on the cumulative learning of many strength-based approaches including Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), Appreciative Inquiry (AI), Diverse Community Economies and Positive Deviance Initiative (PDI).
